Steps to Register CODFEL Courses at Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH)
Registering your CODFEL courses correctly is essential to avoid mistakes and ensure your academic records remain accurate. This guide provides a clear, step-by-step process to help you complete your registration without issues.
1. Access the CODFEL Registration Portal
Start by visiting the college portal:
portal.yabatech.edu.ng
From the navigation menu, select CODFEL Registration.
You can also access it from the college website by navigating to:
Student Menu → CODFEL Registration.
2. Complete Your Statutory Payment (For First Semester Students)
If you are registering at the beginning of a new academic session, you must complete your statutory payment before you can access the CODFEL portal.
On the CODFEL landing page, click Make Statutory Payment and follow the instructions.
Without this payment, the system will not allow you to proceed.
3. Log In to the CODFEL Portal
Return to the CODFEL Online Access Center and click Commence Registration.
This will take you to the login page, where you can enter your username and password.
Ensure you have completed the statutory payment before attempting to log in.
4. Select Your Courses
After logging in, a list of available courses will be displayed.
Review the list and select the courses you wish to register for the semester.
5. Confirm Selected Courses
Click on Select Courses to proceed.
This action takes you to a page where your selected courses are displayed.
6. Review or Edit Your Selection
You will now have two options:

Proceed to Payment, or
-
Edit Selected Courses
If you need to make changes, select Edit, and the system will update the payment amount automatically based on the new course load.
Ensure your selection is correct before making payment.
7. Generate Fees and Complete Payment
Click Generate Fees to view the total amount payable.
Proceed to make the payment following the provided instructions.
After completing the payment, return to the CODFEL Online Access Center and select Submit Registration to finalize your course registration.
8. Log Out and Proceed to Print Your Course Form
Once your registration has been submitted, log out of the CODFEL portal.
Next, visit the general student portal to print your course form.
Do not make any changes to your courses there.
9. Print Your Course Form
On the student portal dashboard, open the Course Registration section.
Select the option to Print Course Registration.
Important:
Do not click on:

Register My Courses
-
Unlock Course
Using these options may delete your CODFEL-registered courses.
Choose your semester and print your course form.
10. Adding Courses? Follow the Official Procedure
If you need to add more courses after your initial submission:

Visit the CODFEL office to generate an invoice for the additional units.

Make the required payment.

Return to the CODFEL office with:

The list of additional courses
-
Your payment receipt

Never attempt to add or unlock courses from the general student portal.
Doing so is considered an attempt to illegally alter your course registration and may lead to penalties or fines.
